These cozy romantic honeymoon cabins are nestled in the Western NC mountains, surrounded by Pisgah National Forest, just off the Appalachian Trail near Lemon Gap and Max Patch. Our Hot Springs, NC honeymoon log cabins for couples, as well as the Raindance lodge vacation home for families, are well equipped, and include all the amenities that you need, like a nice comfortable bed, fireplace, Satellite TV, washer and dryer, fully equipped kitchen, your own private jacuzzi, all linens and towels are also provided. There is even a gas grill outside and an open fire pit with wood provided for that "camping in the woods" feel.

The roads are well maintained and bikers from all over the east coast enjoy the views from the many overlooks and rest points provided. This 74 acre retreat can accommodate a large group for a family reunion or a small to medium sized wedding party. Arrangements can be made for someone wanting to book the entire property at once. The Spring months are very beautiful here when the wildflowers burst into life in celebration of another growing season. While the trees are still dormant, the sunlight is able to penetrate to the forest floor and signal the awaiting plants to emerge in their beautiful splendor for a show of nature not seen in many other places in the world. There are many species of plants that only grow in the area of the Western NC, and Eastern Tennessee mountainous border. There are many factors that come into play for this show of beauty. The wildflowers emerge sometime between late March and mid May. The show lasts until the trees come into full foliage, usually by mid June. There are several species that last all Summer.
The Summer weather includes warm days, seldom gets above 85 degrees, and cool nights for releif from the hot and muggy Summer weather you would experience throught the South.
The spectacular Fall season begins in mid October and lasts through mid to late November, usually peaking in the last week of October to the first week in November. With the vast altitude variations in the area, 1500 to 5000 feet, some Fall color can be seen from Mid September through late November. So plan your trip here according to your ability to travel. Every day here is a beautiful day for those that enjoy nature. When you come to our cabin resort in the woods, you will find that there are a lot of fun things to do in the NC mountains!
